Damn bud. Sorry i couldnt get to ya faster. Work has been busy. Havent logged in since the 17th.

Anyways. yeah i fought with that problem for about 3-4 months off and on. I went ape shit on my bike. Drilled the vent on the fuel cap, dual pingel, replaced all sorts of electronic bs. A new cdi. Turned out one of my bowls where getting drained due to improper float height adjustment.

You might want to drill two extra holes where the float needle goes. That will help too.

Oh and be careful on where your fuel line connects to the carbs. The brass inlet isnt too big and regular fuel line tends to leak if you dont use a small zip tie. A few like Savage420(i think his name is) uses a small hose clamp. I tried that and they always leaked. So i use a small zip tie. The little clip didnt work at all either pictures below.

maybe there should be a write up with pinn'n on all the OKO's mods needed to run them in a higher fuel demand motor. rember you need more air flow OUT of the bowl to feed the bowl as well as fuel. as the fuel is sucked out ( actually the outside pressure forces the fuel in) it needs as much outside air available as possible. drilling the vent tube's out probably did as much or more than making the float needle supply more.

i've never messed with these carbs but i bet thats whats going on. if after a run it fall on its face OR runs on and wont idle down its lean from fuel starvation. alky carbs will do the same thing. , well some will. if it pops or falls on its face right after you hit the throttle its lean for wrong jetting.

Thanks for the help guys! The bike runs top notch now. In a previous post I mentioned what I did to achieve this, and to tell you, the OKO carbs didn't really need too much special attention. I will say that they run rings around the trinity single set up that they replaced.

Now, I guess I'll have to give into the peer pressure and send my jugs out to be carved...
