Clutch removal

Anyone have any ideas where i can either get the tool that the clymer manual shows or any other idea how to hold the inner race so i can get the bolt out? I have searched everywhere for that tool and cant find anything like it.

Cool. My basket was shot and the inner part was messed up too. So i got it off with force but i gotta order one for sure once i get the new parts. So thanks

Man i wish i could. I need to sell a bike so i can buy one lol. No air compressor but i need one all the time. But then i would have to get the tools and such too. And i cant afford the parts i need now for the shee

Motion Pro made that tool long before Tusk ever did, I would also guess that the Tusk tool is made by Motion Pro for Tusk. Motion Pro has a vast amount of tools for working on bikes.

Yall are funny, You dont need a special tool, Just leave all the plates in it, take off the pressure plate, and use your fingers to compress the plates together, this creates enough friction that an impact will easily take the nut right off, You can do it with a regular ratchet but you probably need a helping hand.

Yeah getting it off is easy, a good impact wrench will do that.

 

But putting it back together and torquing it down properly is where the tool is needed.
