How much fuel is flowed with a duel pingle gravity feed compared to a alky mikuni pump? Is there that much difference? How many people run the pumps? I do alot of hillshooting and drag racing and just want to make sure im going the right route. I already have the chariot oversized billet bowl and the dual pingle but someone told me the hill at little sahara utah is probably going to need a pump. And to be just be on the safe side and not to run the bowls dry. Any and all input would be appreciated thanks.

i personally dont run one but i know that alot of people do run them here in utah for sand mountain. seen them on just about every bike even the 4mil cubs. im in the process of building a hillshooter and ill be running one just to be on the safe side.

Im noticing that all the pumps only have 1 inlet and then 2 outlets. So it was a waste to get the dual pingle? I guess ill just get some cover for the other outlet on the pingle. Thats why i was wondering about the pump vs the dual pingle. Because with dual pingle you have two gravity feed outlets, and the pump you only have 1 inlet trying to flow out through two outlets. I didnt know if it could flow more fuel or its was just a cheaper route than billet bowls.

I run billet bowls AND a pump on my bike, and I only run 300 feet.

Overkill...sure. But I know fuel delivery will never be a problem, it allows me to concentrate on other things.

Pumps are cheap too...the big, high volume DF62 (Black Mikuni Pentagon type) is around 60 bones and flows up to 65L per hour.

The other pumps are half price and flow 30 to 35L per hour...

300 ft = no need for a pump on most engines, imo. I'd say gravity is fine up to 610 cc for sure. After that, you may need a pump. For hill shooting or racing any farther than 300 ft, I'd say a pump is a good idea. Even for 300 ft racing, it won't hurt anything and is inexpensive (as mentioned.)

You can actually add an input and an output on the hex pumps.

I have to run two pumps and two oversized cast bowls (bigger than the billet bowls) on my 760 in 300 feet. Otherwise there is not enough fuel supply.
