Whats up guys! I got my first banshee last month. And well, its my "first" four wheeler ive actually owned, but ive rode on many in my time. This is the first four wheeler ive riding in a few years, as i got out of it, but now im back and loving itttt. Ive never really had to work on a four wheeler, so ill need some learning. I am a car mechanic and own my own garage, so that portion of it, is not an issue.

Specs:

2005 Banshee 350

Paid: 2900$

Stock from what ive inspected of it, except a skid plate, and maybe a foam filter? Or is that stock? Oh and holeshots! From what ive gathered, theyve either cleaned it up really well, or it was never rode. Theres barely any scratches on it, and i put the first scratch in the skid the other day! lol.

So my questions. Im planning on getting pipes soon, what else do i need to do when I get the pipe on?

Is buying a K&N worth it? Take the air box off?

Im having a slight issue where low/mid throttle it gets boggy?

I havent filled it up yet since ive gotten it (they filled it before it left), use 93? 50:1?

Sometimes in first gear pulling out, you really need to give it gas or itll stall.

new pipes will help with your power for sure. if you're wanting to ride in any sort of mud or water you best leave your airbox on. I always run 91 (the highest we can get here) in my shee, a lot of guys mix 50:1 just be sure your're using a good oil (AMS Oil, Klotz, etc). I personally mix 40:1 just because it works out perfect 1 bottle to 10 gallons...its more or less a personal preference thing though.

good luck with her though, 'shee's a good looking quad. O, and welcome to BHQ.

Very nice shee. I'm still trying to figure what I want to mix. I am use to running 32:1 in my blasters.

Welcome to the site I am also new and have found alot of great info on here.
