plug chop?

i am just wondering what plugs chops are, what you do to the plugs, and why you need to chop them? help please

Also you dont "need" to do them, some people do some don't.

plug check is for checking the jetting. i dont see the point of doing them. ive been riding banshees for 10 years and have never once done one. i will do wide open throttle plug checks and thats it. by doing the plug chop you waste a set of spark plugs.
