How do I break in a new top end my book says 20 hours that's gunna suck

 

 

We recommend 1 tank at about 50% power. I realize many just want to wring it out instantly but I can disprove that theory pretty easy. Take it easy for about 1 hr and you will be fine.

That'sway better than 20 I can handle that I'm putn new seals in too does that make any diff ?

 

 

 

No. Seals don't change anything.

Just go romp on it. I've always done 2 heat cycles then just go ride it like you normally would. I usually get about 3 years out of a top end before I need to replace anything. I might do rings after 2 years if the compression calls for it. Just make sure you let your bike warm up before you take off. Give the pistons time to warm and expand.
