Loud Clack in the case somewhere?

So my last trip to the dunes I was having a heck of a time hearing a loud clack. It only shows if i was in powerband come out and then get back in, it will clack. I thought it was my chain adjusters so I made my own and it didn't help at all. it's coming from inside the case i'm pretty positive. It sounds almost like there is too much slop in the gears...if that's a possibility. Anybody have any idea what it could be?

Mine sounds like I have a ticking bomb in my cases, I will trade you sounds.

that's a possibility. it sounds rougher than that though....like metal slapping on metal kinda of rough.
