jack350 Posted April 16, 2010 Report Share Posted April 16, 2010 ok so i think its the stator.. it had been through water without the rubber stator cover gasket.. the bike had been sitting in the garage.. now the bike under load (when in gear) does not rev but revs fine in neutrel.. the condition of the stator looks poor rusty n shit.. the flywheel is also rusty.. the bike turns on but like i mentioned it runs like shit.. need ur help need it to run by next week i have ruled out carby issue so i think its a stator issue.. what are the symptoms of a faulty stator and or CDI ?????? 2oo1banshee Posted April 16, 2010 Report Share Posted April 16, 2010 It could be the stator try cleaning the rust off of it with some contact cleaner and cleaning up the flywheel first before you go buy a new one.
