Do any of you guys know the piston clearence on a 4mil banshee? I have a 2mm spacer with standard gaskets and I'm ending up with .080 clearence, but not getting the right compression, I'm getting 100 psi on each cylinder, but it starts on the first kick.. Is it suppose to be around .080 on a 4mil or below? Any information would be helpful. Thankyou very much.

Most guys shoot for an .040 clearance. That is for a stock stoke or 4mill. The .080 is your problem. It is to large.

Do you have any suggestions how to lower it from .080 to .040? And thanks and I really appreciate your time.

What pistons are you running?

Maybe they are blaster pistons. They are shorter in hight, and can be ran with a long rod crank from 66mm bore and up.

Other option would be ditch the spacer plate and do it right with a cool head and custom cut domes. I know it will affect your port timings, but that is how it should have been built in the first place. I wouldnt ruin the cylinders by decking them to bring it back in spec.
