Getting ready to put my motor back together and I was just wondering what my jetting should be and what octane to run. motor bored .020 over stock with wiseco prolite pistons, dual stage boysen reeds, stock head shaved .010, stage 3 dynojet, elevation around 900' in michigan. tryed jetting forum awhile ago with no help. Right now I have stock pilots, 2 turns out on mixture screw I think can't remember, and 340 mains. Any help would be great, Thanks.

Not that compression is a major issue I would run premium in that bike. 340 seems to be close to what that bike needs maybe bigger. Just do plug chops and get it dialed in.

Im at sealevel and my compression is 180 on fresh wiseco 40 over topend. 20 domes cool head with t5, 320 mains.I hear pump gas ok on 20 domes but should I run race fuel with that kind of cmpression?Sorry not trying to high jack your thread.

well, you should start a new thread and someone will respond, since there is more to it, etc...

anyways, to the origional poster- what is your filter setup? lid/snorkel/pods? i wouldn't guess you are much more than 310 mains, but what is your temps?

In the summer time when its hot you need a 310 or a 320. In the winter you will need a 330 or a 340.

I would also say to get some 27.5 pilots. Needle in the middle to start. With your head only being shaved.010 the compression should not be that high. I would do a compression test but you should be able to run 93.With the screws 1.5 turns out. That should get you pretty close
