Night race

Hey hello guys, i am gonna have a xc race at night in a month, and i would like to know what did you recomend me. i have on my shee the stock lights and they suck big time, what you see is what you already have on your wheels, so i was plannig to put some hella 500 headlamps, do you know if i need to install some new parts or i just wire them?, also if you have any other lamp option that you recomendme to race with, it would be great

The helmet mounted lights are very popular for XC night racing.

I would invest into all the best lights you can afford! GNCC racing around here is dangerous enough in the daylight, I couldn't imagine a night race! Good luck and post your results

I have an Alba Action 320watt stator on my desert banshee, running (3) Hella Rally 2000. I have a triple light rack and a double light rack I run depending on the course. The stock banshee stator can only handle (2) 35w bulbs without major dimming at idle. I recommend running the biggest lights you can get 8 or 9 inch and switching the bulbs to 35w. To maximize the reflectors. If you have any ?'s pm me I will explain it more. Good Luck!
