low compression

i just put a new top end in my 2001 banshee, went to kickstart it but wont fire up, I can pop start it and it fires right up. I did a compression check on it and was reading 60 lbs. way too low, it should be around 110. should i do a pressure test on the motor to see if it is leaking. or should i pull out the pistons again to make sure that i installed them right, I cant understand why there should be a leak since it started all the time before i put in the new pistons. any help would be greatly appreciated

I think compression on a healthy factory Shee should be between 125-140 PSi.

whats the ring end gap? Piston to bore clearance, is this a stock stroke, or a stroker? Details on engine!

i think you should get a climbers manual and do all of the things you listed . hopefully you didnt scare the cylinders

Are u using a compression tester with a check valve in the adapter? If not,then u will have low comp readings.
