Raptr700 Posted April 2, 2010 Author Report Posted April 2, 2010 Those are not "fully" adjustable either. Pro Series Pro Series Adjustable Compression Rate (ACR) remote adjustable damping shocks. Adjustments for compression, rebound and Threaded pre-load (Tpl). Steel bodies with large diameter (5/8-inch) shafts. What else would you have to adjust for them to be fully? this is whats on site.. ? http://www.worksperformance.com/html/atv.html Quote
bbcmudtruck Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 I'm not trying to bash your for sale thread, just letting you know that these are not fully adustable. They appear to be the standard AT steelers with remote rezzies. They do not have threaded preload collars and do not have compression or rebound adjustments. You can adjust the preload, but that option is standard on most shocks. Also a standard length banshee shock is 14 3/4" long. Since they are not banshee shocks, you need to make sure the shock bushings are the right width as well. Quote

These shocks are the one with the fully adjustable remotes.. and i said fully adjustable because that it what the site says.. and if they say fully adjustable and they are the ones i have for sale .and they were ordered for a banshee so they are for a banshee, i would never doubt works performance ... When ordered they were adjusted/tuned for a banshee w.a 180lbs rider from works performance. Threaded pre-load . A-T-Steeler fronts with Multi-Rate springs, Remote reservoirs , and the fully adjustable Pro Series with (ACR) Adjustable Compression Reservoir remotes . so u quess your saying they should change the title on thier products from "Fully adjustable Pro Series with (ACR)" To non adjustable pro series w.acr? Raptr700 Posted April 2, 2010 Author Report Posted April 2, 2010 and ya i know banshee stocks are 14 and w.e but when i said they are 15 1/2 i was going off an eye estimate putting it next to a composition notebooks inch thing and i would not lie and say they are for a banshee when they are not.. this whole set up came off a banshee and were removed due to purchase of 1700$ elka set up for a mx track. donkeypuncher Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 based off the pictures, im gonna have to agree with bbc, those arent "fully adjustable". this is what you have VVVV http://www.worksperformance.com/html/atv.html notice the only adjustment it lists is the threaded pre-load, which is the only adjustment the shocks you are selling have. bbcmudtruck Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 I was just trying to help you. Those are not copression or rebound adjustable. Also, they are not threaded preload adjustable either. They have the c-clip style. If someone bought these and thought they were getting alot more than what you have, they would be pissed and you would have a paypal dispute to deal with. I'm not implying that your dishonest. You don't have that many posts here on HQ, we don't know you. I don't think you know what you have. Just trying to help everyone out including you. Quote
spooled Posted April 3, 2010 Report Posted April 3, 2010 I'm glad I passed on the deal. After rereading the first few posts its looking like there definately would have been a paypal dispute. 15 1/2 long with tape measure...then that was an eyeball measurement...from fully adjustable to preload only. Buyer beware. Quote
So Cal Suspension Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 I'm glad I passed on the deal. After rereading the first few posts its looking like there definately would have been a paypal dispute. 15 1/2 long with tape measure...then that was an eyeball measurement...from fully adjustable to preload only. Buyer beware. TOTALLY agree with this post. He said, right in his post that, when the length was questioned, they were 15.5" eye to eye. yes im shure i got the tape measure when u asked..and i would only be able to take 135$ and the shocks.. these shocks are retailed @ around 600$ and ya i know banshee stocks are 14 and w.e but when i said they are 15 1/2 i was going off an eye estimate putting it next to a composition notebooks inch thing Now he lined them up next to a composition book to get the "estimate". Like I tell all you guys, go peddle your scams elsewhere. Quote
