first time at the 1/4 mile track

hey guys, thinking of taking my passion 4mil to the 1/4 mile strip. right now i have 15/40 gearing. i was looking into a longer swingarm and maybe some new sprockets....what gear should i run?

 

any idea on what it should do 1/4 mile wise?

we need to know what ratio primary gears to give you any help and what tranny

With a 2.36 ratio primary drive I ran 16/39 and 17/39 in the 1/4.With the 16 I actually gained mph on the big end.Stock ratio primary I have seen all sorts of nonsense,but most ran 17/18 and 40 in back.You will also need to see what your motor will pull,its very easy to over gear
