AdrenalineJunky Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 I have been thinking about running PODS. How much HP gain to you achieve and how much does it affect your jetting? Do you have to make sure to stay out of any water/mud. I don't mud run but there are occasions when you hit some water and mud. Quote
Driggs Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 Don't know HP gain but make sure you run outerwears. Outerwears are not waterproof but help repel water. Are you running a K&N now with the airbox? Quote

firebanshee Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 You would probably go up 2 main jet sizes. Quote

AdrenalineJunky Posted April 1, 2010 Author Report Posted April 1, 2010 Do I need the straight or angled ones? I try to stay out of muddy conditions but seems like mud doesn't seem to really get into that area? Would you recommend them for woods riding? Quote

Would you recommend them for woods riding? Jeff at fast has a kit for 85 with outerwares. I have ran mine in snow, snow/slush, mud, and soupy mud and never had an issue. Always stayed clean. I will tell you though, it sucks ass everytime you wash your quad. I usually wash mine every time I ride and you have to make sure to seal them with bags real well. Other than that they are great!
