g_low0885 Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 i went out to the grarge and found a oil puddle under the shee. it looks like it is comeing from the shifter. how hard is it to change the seal on the shifter? Quote
SAVAGE420 Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 I just use 2 small screws across from one an other, screw them in a then pull on them with some vise grips and she will come out. Then lightly grease the seal and push the seal in easy with a socket of the same size as the seal. Done! Quote
g_low0885 Posted March 23, 2010 Author Report Posted March 23, 2010 thanks for your help. it sounds easy enough. Quote
superfastyfz450driver Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 you will need one hell of a long socket since the banshee shift shaft sticks out at least 2 and a half inches long you might be better off trying to use a couple old wrist pins if you have some laying around Quote

You can slide the whole shaft out the side of the case and there is nothing in the way. Quote
