Permatex

Which Permatex are we supposed to use for the cases. I didn't see the 1211 at Autozone. They did have the gray stuff.

1121 is a threebond number, not permatex.

 

i got my 1121 from a moto shop.

I couldn’t find that Permatex locally so I stopped by a local motorcycle shop and they had the threebond. It's good stuff. If you're going to use Permatex, don't use any other kind other than whats in the picture. The others won't hold up.

Ive had good results on sealing up sled motors and there chain cases and other stuff on bikes and what not through the years with ThreeBond 1121.
