wadlesw96 Posted March 20, 2010 Report Posted March 20, 2010 When i first got it the left light was dimmer and it was like this for awhile. Then i had a problem with the clutch so i fixed that and it started and ran great but none of the lights work not even the tail light. It has a 200 watt ricky stator. What could of caused this? Quote
bansheesandrider Posted March 20, 2010 Report Posted March 20, 2010 It could be the POS Ricky Stator or it could be your voltage regulator failed, the voltage went up and burned out the bulbs. Get a meter and check things out- checkvoltage while it is running and then ohm the stator while it is off. The values will be different than stock but the main thing is going to be continuity. Quote
AKheathen Posted March 20, 2010 Report Posted March 20, 2010 knowing ricky stator history, i would start there. you can ohm it out, which will reead dfferently than stock, but i would stich a voltage meter set on a/c from the yellow wire coming out of the stator, to the engine block. if you do get power, then check the power in and out of the light switch...... http://www.bansheehq.com/images/help_pages/electrical/banshwdc.jpg Quote
