Clutch basket fix

I got a Hinson billet basket from a friend a while ago, but the little turd burgalar didnt tell me one of the screws in the back needed to be drilled out. So i drilled it out, but messed up all the threads on one side because i was in a hurry.

 

My question is, Do you think it will be safe to run if it drill out the hole and use a helicoil in it?

I would think so because the Helicoil threads are very strong so you should be good. You could even put loctite in the threads of the helicoil so it stays in there solid.

Use lots of red loctite! You could also re-tap it for a different pitch or size bolt if you could find one with the right head.
