bansheesandrider Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 I am getting ready to build a Banshee from scratch and will be needing new bearings for everything on the chassis. When we put an extended swingarm on the kid's Blaster, I bought a kit from either All Balls or Pivot Works for the bearings. Anyway it seemed like nothing fit right and I had to reuse the collars/spacers that I took out instead of the new ones. So, my question is, are there any other manufacturers and who's kits are better? I have always preferred OEM parts for stuff like this, but with my current situation, if I can save some money, I might get it together sooner. Thanks for your input. Quote
bansheesandrider Posted March 4, 2010 Author Report Posted March 4, 2010 Anybody got any input on this? Quote
Bill Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 I bought a kit off ebay last year that had all the bearings and seals for the chassis, they all fit great. Before you put the bearings in put them in the freezer for a few hours first,it helps allot. Quote
-Herbie- Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 i just put in new stem bearing and swingarm bearings last month. used all balls for stem and pivot works for swinger. both fit fine. i bought them seperate cause it was a little cheaper Quote
