firemonkey Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 i am working on a 96 banshee with a motor bore of 70 over . I have 3 questions 1. what should the compression be at, and is 110 on rideside and 115 left side too low? 2. what is a stock banshee compression? Quote
GrMeyer Posted February 24, 2010 Report Posted February 24, 2010 Here are some ?'s for you. Are the jugs ported? What is the elevation? Does it have a cool head? Has the stock head been shaved? Did the test you used have a check valve in the adapter? (for what im talking about) http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=70901&view=&hl=compression Quote

You should use a snap on compression tester to get a accurate reading. If it's a new motor, you have to break it in first and seat the piston rings to get a reading. Stock comp. is 115-125 psi. Quote
