my motor is sittin on my kitchen table gettin toothbrush treatment. iwas running lean on the right side . i have no gasket between the greydon 2-1 and reeds should ther be ?

it looked like it was leakn ther wet in such . i was planning on replacing thoses and the ones between reeds and jugs . i got some gasket material but its a fuz thicker is that ok

a lot of times i dont even use intake gaskets when they are needed,i just use silicone

yeah i dont have any and im unemployed what do ree4d spacers do ?

yeah there should be an intake gasket there i have 3 on each side for my reeds, boots, and spacers. All spacers do is make it really hard to put you carbs on with the airbox.

If your runnin bigger carbs it will keep the float bowl of the carb off from the clutch arm.

Shitty...Then I guess that the motor is not going back together. Or unless you like air leaks and rebuilding for fun.

Make some out of a cereal box, then do a leak down test to make sure that was the only leak.

That might work for a min or two. But when any fluid hits it, say bye bye. Try to find a friend that has some silicone.
