SlowerThanYou Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 I'm taking a little time to rebuild the quad that almost killed me. I have lots of people to thank for helping me with the build. We will be trying a few things differently this time and hope to be quicker. Here's a few photos. Thanks to Jimmy and Charlie for the frame!!! I guess I'll have to try something different for the photos. Quote

SlowerThanYou Posted February 28, 2010 Author Report Posted February 28, 2010 Here are some new parts for the rebuild. We left out photos of the spindles until a later time. The single a-arm on each side with spindle only weighs 2.5 lbs. and the swingarm weighs 9 lbs. http://s143.photobucket.com/albums/r143/BLK1700/New%20Frame/New%20Parts/ Quote

SlowerThanYou Posted February 28, 2010 Author Report Posted February 28, 2010 this is the same thing i am doing to my drag bike let me know how it handles I'm assuming you are talking about the single a-arm set-up. The 1st set has been tested in the 1/8 mile @ 105 mph. We made some minor changes for my set. We will be testing mine in the 1/4 mile and over a 120 mph. Quote
