hey there i was peeking at the powerjet set up and was wondering if its worth puting it on a bolt on motor with mx port or is it for more built motors? anyone with thoughts or exp with these lmk thanks again

You could do it to simply gain adjustability of your main jetting ckt from outside the carb, but it is not necessary and will not yeild any power gains. They do it on alky carbs because you can not get enough fuel to the motor through the main jet and emulsion tube. They can only be drilled so big. Alky motors need more fuel than a carb in stock form can supply. Some of the smaller alky motors can and do get away w/o power jets, but anything above a stock cylinder setup, forget about it.

Its not needed on a bolt on motor. They are needed on motors that need more fuel on the topend than a mainjet can supply. Alcohol bikes for example can't flow enough at high rpms so the powerjet adds fuel up top.

well, they may not be needed, but if you ride alot of different places with different jetting needs, such as heading to the beach, or up the mountains, then you would really love them, since you won't have to change jets anymore, just reach down and adjust
