louder banshee pipes

OK i have heard that you can take something off from something from pipes to make the bike louder louder but i not sure what it is so if you guys could help also is it hard?

Why do you want to make your pipes louder? Loud pipes= less places for us to ride. Just because the bike is louder does not mean it is faster, hell I have seen some very loud bikes that were slower than shit.

Agreed. There are decibal limits in our riding areas. Louder pipes are cool ya, and I love the loud pipes save lives motto, but it just gives all the tree huggers, and rich people building there ridiculouse house in our dunes that you dont want to piss off. theyve got money and when it comes down to it the feds can and will just shut down the riding area because of nois pollution and all the other crap we do that is so horribal. Just do us all a favor and follow the guidlines set forth for your area. Loud pipes dont make you any faster, but they do have the possibility of losing more riding area. just my .02

Here is my disclaimer, if you ride in areas that have Db limits, the woods, or any other place that you might piss someone off with your pipes, leave them alone.

 

You can pull the packing out of the silencers, and it will make them louder. It may or may not hurt your performance, but depending on the pipes you run, odds are you won't notice any thing other than the sweet, sweet sound of a un-silenced 2 Stroke exhaust.
