So I took the banshee out today and was running it around and it did not seem to want to take gas very well. It seemed like it would take it then sputter then take some more. When it was doing this if felt like it could have been running on one cylinder then two and back and forth. After taking the top end off when I got home it looks like there are vertical lines by the exhaust port. Is this a re-bore or just a hone or new rings or pistons or all of the above? Any input would be great.

that looks like when they honed the cylinder a piece of the stone chipped off, what do the pistons look like?

I have not looked at the pistons because I have not taken the cylinders off. It has been about 2 years since the last bore and hone and from what i remember the lines were not there.

If you dont want to take cylinders off yet, remove the pipes and use a flashlight to take a peek at the exhaust side of the pistons..
