Quaggy Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 I am currently running a trex cylinder bored 2 sizes over at 73mm. I was told today that its at its maximum bore and i'll need a re-sleeve next time. Is this true? I'm finding it hard to beleive you can only get 1mm bored out of these things and they're at their maximum? Quote
BigRed350x Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 Give kim at K&T a call he can tell you whats up with those cylinders. I'm not sure what the max bore is on them, but I've heard of 74 and even 75mm bore Trex cylinders. So either they have a thicker sleeve than yours, or they got theirs bored out and sleeved bigger. 1996dragshee Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 I just had my 10 mill t-rex resleeved back to a 75mm bore and can now be bored up to 78.... My bore before the resleeve was a 76.5 and a 77 was my last bore so i just went ahead and did it ahead of time. What stroke cylinders are yours? Quote
