Hello. I just bought a 2ndBanshee. Its a 2006. Looking for a place to start with jetting and t-6 pipes/k&n filter.. My engine/bike has less than 30 total hrs on it. Stock as can be, pipes, head, reeds, ect. I live and ride at about 500- 800ft ASL. Bike still has TORS, stock airbox, and filter. I will get a k&n to go in the stock location, and keep the lid as I deal with water, and light mud come summer on trail rides. I basically want to install just the pipes and air filter for now. I want to be able to keep this thing as clean and original as possible. Any starting points will be great. Thanks..

I would start at a290 main, needle in middle groove, stock pilot. If anything you may need to step the main down 1 size. You can probably go to Toomey's website and see their recommendations.

are you going to keep the snorkel on? And will you be modding the lid in anyway. Like 6- 1inch holes. But if your going to be keeping the lid on. I would start with 260 mains. Outerwear makes a lid kit that you cut the hole and replace the big hole with a metal frame to hold the outerwears. So you still get more air with the lid and it will repell around 90% most of the water. Just another thing to look into. Also. If your going to be riding around water. Get the Tors kit. The Tors on the bike will give you a brain aneurysm.:shootself:

i have a banshee with the same setup. i am running 280s and it runs great. since your at a lower elevation i would start at 300 or so. rip on it for a few and make your adjustments from there

I had t-6's at about 700ft and was around a 270-280 so i would start around a 290 or 300 and work your way down. 260 seems kinda lean.

BUT i did not have the lid on so 260 seems about right.
