Is anybody able to check a vin#

Just curious if anybody could check this banshee's vin number I am thinking about buying

you need to contact both your local police, and your state troopers. Just because it doesnt come back hot in your town, doesnt mean someone from another city is looking for it. always do this before buying a bike, keeps you from losing the bike when the owner see's you on it!

I'm assuming it doesn't have title, so if it doesn't have a title don't buy it, it's not worth the trouble.

I have been trying to find a banshee for awhile now and every one around me for sale does not have a title, besides one. Its hard to find one haha atleast around me.

if your state requires offroad vehicles to e registered, the rightful owner can always gte a duplicate title from the state.

Illinois.. That will work if they actually had the title in their name, but most of them have bought them with out the title, they would have to then go and get it registered in their name and illinois likes to take 4-5 months for the title to actually arrive if you are applying for a new one.

 

I just used that NCIB website and ran it through there no idea how reliable that is.

I wouldn't trust any website that isn't ran by your local or state law enforcement. When push comes to shove, the website is not going to keep your bike from being taken away or you being put n jail if it is hot.
