Hi,

I have a 00 stock reed,stock head at 3700 above sea level.

It has some Pro Circuit pipes.

What size of jets should I start off with?

It Idles perfect....starts on the first kick.

but as soon as I let her have it, it bogs and does the sluptering sounds lol.

Powerband kicks in......say in 5th gear,, then coming down to 2nd......she bogs.

Idles Perfect, just want to know what jets should I start off with.

Just bought her used, and trying to get her running perfect.

then again it's super cold during this time.

Oh and I forgot to tell you felas the major HP's are from the Super Chromed out Boostle Bottle it has" shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :rotflmao:

Thank You

Alot of people do plug chops. I go by feel of the bike. Go up another jet and see if it falls on its ass at the top end. If it feels like its better then keep going up tell you get the ass part. But those plugs look good to me. For the plug chop; your looking for a 2mm brown ring on the porcelain. Hope this helps.

well I found out something new today reading another post.

I have the tors removed.

But I have no Idle Screws.

I just bought it and finding new stuff.

Since it bogs down on low Rpms I should go up more on the Mains??? It runs go on top end.

It only bogs when the rpms come down, or in low gear. say as im taking off in 2nd it will bog right before the PowerBand Hits.

Well pull the bowl off the carb and pull the pilot out (small flat head screw driver) and tell me the number stamped on it. then we can go from there bud.

It has 340 Mains. right know.

I know you have 340 mains Thats not your issue as you said. Your low end is the issue so tell me what the PILOT JETS are. Then we can go from there and with setting the air screws mang.

You will need 27.5 pilots man ..then turn your air screws ALL the way in and then back them out 1-1/2 turns and that will clean it up just right, im sure of it. Might have to tweak the air screws on the sides of your carbs a lil left or right but go 1-1/2 and start there.

Let me know.
