Banshee Stuck in Gear

MY banshee won't shift anymore. i let my friend drive it and he sank it in a mudhole. not a place for banshee's anyways. but we drained all the water out of the motor and carbs, and it's stuck and gear, and the kickstart won't catch i have to jump it. i dont know if it's the reeds, or i need some internal for the kickstarter for it to catch. anyways back onto the transmission, what should i do to fix this and how much would it cost?

start by taking clutch cover off but if one of your shift forks bent or broke it can have same effect and you will have 2 split the case

Check your transmission gears. I fixed one for my buddy a couple of weeks ago that wouldn't shift out of second. The only thing I could find wrong with it was a little chip out of the gears.
