Top End Rebuild, Machining Needed

I need to get my cylinders bored. This will be the 1st reubild on the motor. Noting blew us, comperession was low on one cylinder. Any suggestions of who to use. I'm just south of Chicago and there aren't a whole lot of places around here. I have already broken them down as well. I saw some online places that will do the work and ship them back. Just not sure who to use. Not building a stroker or anything. Just want a good relible place to do the work. THANKS

Any of the site sponsors will be able to hook ya up if ya dont mind sending them out. I have seen some dealerships bore them out on basically a glorified drill press lol, so check the place your wanting to get it done at first, but probably your best bet will be a site sponsor, and if ya have the xtra cash get it ported, best bang for the buck and your already tore down for it!

Also i almost forgot but make sure the place thats doing it knows to chamfer the ports so they dont snag a ring!

There are alot of builders out there. If you have the money for porting then the time is now for it if this will be the first bore. That way you will get the full life of the porting on those jugs. Just contact a builder and talk it over on what your wanting out of the bike and what your mods are. They can port match to your pipes and what not. But the power is in the porting of the jugs and I wish I would have done it when I first got the bike. Its a new animal!!!
