BansheeHoleshot Posted December 6, 2009 Report Posted December 6, 2009 The rear of my frame is bent up. You can see a fold on the top and a crack on the bottom. I'm thinking of cutting the support brace off. Then beld it straight. Weld the crack and weld some thicker larger triangle plates on to the sides where the thin cheap old brace was. Anyone have a better idea? And what does straight look like? Quote
AKheathen Posted December 6, 2009 Report Posted December 6, 2009 well, clean all that rust off, and then bend it back, and weld it closed. then take some 1.5" pipe and bend it into sort of a fishplate or round gusset like you see on other parts of the frame..... Quote
