I got the same thing going on with my clutch basket. You can grab the basket and knock it back and forth on the gear. CyclePartsNation has the oem basket and gear for $140. I hear the way to go is billet. What brand to go with and where to buy it? Knowing the oem is all one piece, what's involve in installation?

This sounds like what's happening. I'm spreading the glue on the bar and slidding it on as fast as I can.

I didn't try putting glue inside the grip. I have no clue on how much to use. I think the grip being really soft is not helping.

I'll have to look for your Gorilla glue, I'll try anything. There the half waffle style so I really don't want them to move.

Ya I had to roll up sandpaper and cleaned the glue out and I also sanded the handlebars every time I tried. I have a twist throttle and it's the same for the plastic.

I got some scott grips and there glue to install them with. I'm tryed three time to glue them and they don't stay. I come back a week later and I can turn them. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

I soaked it with WD40 and whipped it off. I didn't clean the mounting area but I did brush all the screws clean.

Damn right I'm getting it together I want to ride.

From what I understand there is no right answer because ever machine is different. I will keep in mind that 260 could be a possibility.

Why so small for the mains? FMF says 260 with stock filter, lid on and only snorkel off.

Thanks for all the info, I think I have a good idea where to start. I'll just have to see what works the best for my machine. I'll be posting my final jetting when I get my machine all back together.

Does everyone agree fmf is wrong about 30 pilots? Someone needs to notify them.

Wondering why fmf instructions say 30 pilot with only the snorkel off?

Just got my fmf fattys and Q-series silencers, also have lid off, k&n filter, boyesen power reed, Pro Lite 65.50, rest of the motor is stock. So I was wondering wich pilot and main jet should I be using. Sea level, 15-25 degrees celsius, 32:1?, 91 octane I have a chariot timming plate on the way. what should I set it to +4? Can't wait to get my bansheehq hoodie! =)

The rear of my frame is bent up. You can see a fold on the top and a crack on the bottom. I'm thinking of cutting the support brace off. Then beld it straight. Weld the crack and weld some thicker larger triangle plates on to the sides where the thin cheap old brace was. Anyone have a better idea? And what does straight look like?

My banshee is living a better life then me. No more money! Can I take off the rubber boots and grease. After it goes threw the oven I can regrease and put boots back on?

What do you do with the ball joint when you want to sandblast and powdercoat your stock a-arms?
