steeler2169 Posted November 25, 2009 Report Posted November 25, 2009 ok i have 27.5 main, 270 pilot, needle clip at 2, t-5 pipes ,v-force3,fast head,wiseco pistons, and k&N Filter oh and elevation is about 864. Talking to people i should be around 300 pilots but at 270 my plugs are black. what the hell is going on? Help please Quote
TwistedSheeRida Posted November 25, 2009 Report Posted November 25, 2009 First off you have a 270 main jet in and a 27.5 pilot. Are you doing a wideopen run and checking the plugs or just letting it idle? Is your airbox lid on or off? Quote

TwistedSheeRida Posted November 25, 2009 Report Posted November 25, 2009 with your setup at 40:1 with the lid off your plugs should look pretty good. Theres nothing wrong with what your running right now just drop the mains until its right. You can also try dropping the clip on the needle 1 down before you do the main and see how that goes. Quote
