I live in SoCal, and will be running at Glamis for Thanksgiving. I've been a dirt bike guy forever, and just bought this Banshee because I've had recent health issues, and figured 4 wheels would be better than two. I'm swapping out the Paul Turner pipes and silencers for FMF Fatty's and silencers. Pardon my ignorance as I learn, but is it necessary to re jet? It's all stock except for an air filter. Any help would be awesome, THANKS!

so are you getting rid of the paul turners? I would be interested if you were.

well mostly we need to know your other mod are on the bike to help you get close to the jetting as we can help. what type of intake are you running? has the bike been ported?

I'll check the jetting today, and see what's in there. YES, I will be getting rid of the Paul Turners. They do have some rust of them, that's why I want to get rid of them. I'll take some pics today and post them, and you can make me an offer.

Are those pipes Hi revs or mids?

As for the lid, did you keep it on or off? and did you remove the snorkel? Any added holes to the intake. But with a lid off you should be around the 280ish depending on temp and elevation. Also if you have the tors on the carbs I would highly recommend removing them if you are anywhere close to water. Plus it makes for tuning the carbs 10x easier.

Lids off. No holes in the intake. TORS are still there, but I won't be riding ANYWHERE near water. I'll primarily be riding in glamis... sand dunes. Elevation is 335ft. yes three hundred and thirty five. Daytime temps usually 70-80F, night time 40-50F. It's got 270's in there. Should be good, right? I don't have the time or place to do a plug chop.
