Boosted GMC Posted November 10, 2009 Report Posted November 10, 2009 Saturday at the little sahara my dyna fs cdi quit working. I put the stock cdi back on and it started on the first kick as usual. I was wondering if anyone has sent there cdi in for repairs and what it cost. I tried to call dynatek today, sat on hold for close to an hour. Quote
J-Madd Posted November 10, 2009 Report Posted November 10, 2009 E-mail is probably the best way to contact them but I wouldn't hold my breath. I wanted to trade the $100 POS serial cable that only fits 10 year old desktop computers for the USB cord. They said I could pay $100 for the USB cord, but not trade, I had only had the ignition for about 10 months, and I bought it directly from Dyna. Quote
Snopczynski Posted November 10, 2009 Report Posted November 10, 2009 your supposed to buy the serial cable to usb adapter at radio shack for $20.00! Quote
J-Madd Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 your supposed to buy the serial cable to usb adapter at radio shack for $20.00! It seems like their serial cable is assbackwards though????. It's female instead of male (or vice versa) and won't fit any of my laptops. I haven't looked for the serial to usb adapter to fit their plug (don't mess with the dyna much anymore) but I do have a usb to serial adapter plug for my Predator Diablo programmer for my Challenger..haven't checked to see if it works with the dyna, but I don't think it will. Snopczynski Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 They had the right one in stock at radio shack when I went in there. Quote
