shakar Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 i recently bumped my timing up from +4 to+5 since then when im kicking her over she kickbacks.do u think shes not liking the timing bump or something else .could this cause damage or others problems besides runing i n reverse witch i dont want to see .well not on mine anyway . thanks for any help Quote
No Limit Powersports Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 I would double check to make sure you got the timing set in the right position and that the flywheel key is in and didnt push out. It is a common problem that the key didnt stay put and the flywheel is off causing the timing to jump around. 4 to 5 degrees advanced is not alot but really need to know more about your setup to tell if its going to do any harm. Compression, fuel, ect... Quote
shakar Posted October 22, 2009 Author Report Posted October 22, 2009 most of my mods are in my sig i think im around 155 comp and run vp and reg half /half . im gunna pop the wheel off and take a peek on the key make sure its where it should be . thanks for the info Quote

badassbanshee479 Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 messed with before this started was rewiring my stock kill-lightswitch. what did you do here?? if the problem was not there before ya messed with this, and no its there I would undo what ever you did..... careful with the kick back I have seen them kick back hard enough to break the clutch cover.... Koolguyson Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 A stock banshee isn't going to kill a clutch cover. But if it were a bigger motor there is not a part on the right side of the motor that is safe Quote
