jamebo Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Hey guys, I bought a KX250 the other day and the guy I got it from said he was running Amsoil 32:1 in it. So I got a few quarts of the Amsoil Dominator for it. I was thinking about switching from Yamalube to that in my Banshee. I've been running the yamalube at 24:1 like the manual called for (I know, real rich lol), but what would be a good ratio for the Amsoil? The bottle says the mixture should be 50:1, but I did a search on here and it looks like most guys are running it at 40:1. Think it'd be alright to just run at 32:1 for the Banshee? Also, should I expect any changes in the motor/tune switching from Yamalube to a synthetic oil? Quote

TwistedSheeRida Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 Amsoil interceptor 40:1 it runs real good with it but you can def get away with 50:1 your call. i like to stay on the safe side Quote
