uwenr Posted October 7, 2009 Report Posted October 7, 2009 As the title states. Will i notice a difference? we run our 350s anywhere from 6 to 10. I put mine at 10 and back it down until it stops getting hot. ended up around 9. I know everyone is going to bag on me for this but thats what i run on 4 different 350s. Quote
RippinShee Posted October 7, 2009 Author Report Posted October 7, 2009 So, will i notice a difference in power? Quote
papa_smurf49319 Posted October 7, 2009 Report Posted October 7, 2009 go and find out, it only takes a few minutes to adjust the timing! Your bike will let you know what it likes! Quote
flyRTby Posted October 7, 2009 Report Posted October 7, 2009 If you advance it too much that bitch will run backwards! so ya you'll notice a difference! Either you'll bike will like it, or it wont. you should be able to tell right away. Quote

uwenr Posted October 7, 2009 Report Posted October 7, 2009 Like I said I took mine to ten and didnt have any issues besides it getting hot. Moved it back to 9, and yes you will see a difference. Quote
papa_smurf49319 Posted October 7, 2009 Report Posted October 7, 2009 Keep an eye on your plugs. If they start loosening then you need to back it off. I would go much more than 6 or 7 depending on what fuel your running. Quote
flyRTby Posted October 7, 2009 Report Posted October 7, 2009 WOW man. No words can even answer what you just said. WHAT? you dont think these motors can run backwards? Quote
RippinShee Posted October 8, 2009 Author Report Posted October 8, 2009 I set the timing to +6. Changed my needle from the 3rd clip to the 2nd from the top. Im just waiting for a new slide for my PJ carbs, and will run it tonight and see what the difference is. Quote
RippinShee Posted October 9, 2009 Author Report Posted October 9, 2009 Definitely noticed a huge difference. Way more low to mid power. Quote
