Glamis321 Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 throw it on reserve and run it. if your already on reserve then throw some gas in it. you can always drain it back out again. Quote
SAVAGE420 Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 Put some more gas in ans ride it around again. Sounds like your low on gas. Go do it and try it out. Then when you go and park it. Turn the pet-cock off, pull the fuel line of the carbs and put them into your gas jug and turn the pet-cock on to drain the tank on your shee. Bingo bango DONE!!! Quote
quikshee Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 wouldnt rev to full throttle and when it reved it didnt give that 2 stroke back fire on the way down.... A 2 stroke should not back fire on the way down, nor at any point. It should rev full and clean top to bottom. Quote

SAVAGE420 Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 no but you know how it makes the pinging noises on the way down ?? or is it just mine .... Pinging = detonation. Whats your comp and what octane fuel you run, just curious. Just go stick gas in it and run it around, your proly outa gas like you said. Quote

quikshee Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 It doesn't sound like your too sure on the octane your running. You HAVE to make sure you are running the correct octane, if your running too low of octane you will start detonating. Anywhere between 91 & 93 octane should be fine with a completely stock motor. You personally need to start being the person who pumps the gas into the can so you know for sure what your fuel is. Quote
