Well the time has come to split the case on my banshee. Everything was running fine, it's just never been done before. (87)

What all should i do while im in their mod related?

I plan to do just a .030 wiseco top end, no porting for now.

Timing plate +4, K&N filters w/ no box

Shiftstar mod, pancake bearing, new clutch.

weld crank, new bearings, seals etc.

How much should I mill the stock head?

All i have now is some fmf's with powercores.

Is this all I need to replace for now?

Reeds, porting & etc will have to wait. this is a full ground up overhaul.

Sounds like you have the exact same setup I have. I went .030 on the head. My only complaint is the pipes. I wish I would have went for something with more bottom end. Mine has gotten better now that the jetting is close to being correct. I use mine for trail riding and I cant see wanting anything faster.

Ya, I bought my banshee running, off craigslist for 900 bucks and now its getting a full rebuild.

I would like to do the stroker & porting but I'd like to get it bak together before christmas.

The fmf's looked like they were dipped in rust but i plan to powdercoat them highheat black until i can get some T-5's.
