Pull clutch it & just taks off

Just bought A Banshee today & I pull the clutch in & it is still engauged in gear, cable is fine, Moving on top of the case. What is the problum ??? O it has been sitting for 2.5 years.

you gotta do three things. first use the search button. then buy a clymers. then adjust your clutch.

push it down the rode 2 get it started then just rip it and dump the clutch threw the gears. that should help as chainging the oil

 

 

that should loosin it up. it happins when they sit the plates stick

I did go down the road with it but was just putsing. not on it at all. I was trying to get it loose. I will try it agin tonight. Will let you all know, thanks for the help.

Make sure it is adjusted correctly first. Then take it out and get it up into higher gear to put a load on it,give it throttle and pull in on clutch. Do this several times. If this doesn't work pull clutch apart, steel plates are probably rusted.

pulled the cover off tonight & the disks were rusted to the metal plates, so I took the metal plates & sand papered them, & bought A brand new Moose clutch last night so It should be ok now. ( I hope )
