Gurny48 Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 (edited) I think I could answer this question myself but you guys are the experts. I ride in Jersey so the weather changes all the time. I went for a ride and it was about 90deg and humid. Shee ran like shit with 310 mains, spuddering and slugish getting to high RPM. So I put 300 mains in there but the next time I rode it was about 75deg and cool, but shee ran like a champ. I plan to ride until it gets below 30deg or so. So my question is, aprox how many degs = main jet change? Thanks guys. Mods, bored .090, fattys, milled head, +4, K&N with outerwears no lid, and boesen reeds. fastbanshee8 Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 About every 15 degrees of temp change is when you should rejet. You should also adjust the air mixture screws each time the temp changes 15 degrees, if you want it to run as good as it can. Quote
papa_smurf49319 Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 (edited) Could it posssibly hurt the engine to not rejet? Every 15 degrees seems like alot of work, here in michigan it can be 90 one day and then 60 the next Edited September 10, 2009 by papa_smurf49319 Quote
