Tranny Troubles

Well I found what I thought to be a good deal on a 93 shee on CL. When I went to look at it all the plastics and fuel tank was off (long story). The guy told me it needed a topend (90psi). Anyway, when I got it home I put the tank on and it fired up after a couple kicks. I took it around the block and second gear was acting funny. It wasn't grinding or popping, felt like the clutch was being pulled in and out. Only when on the throtle and only in second.

I have the engine out and on the bench ready to split the case, but not sure what I'm looking for. I put it in 2nd and turn it by hand and it feels fine. Have'nt split the case yet, need a flywheel puller.

Only thing I can think is a bent shift fork??
