99bansheeboy Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 the neutral switch on my 99 banshee keeps leaking...i pulled it off and put a new o-ring on it but it still leaks...is there suppose to be a gasket on it or something? is there a way i can get rid or it all together and just permanently seal the whole thing ? Infamous039 Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 Mine was leaking at one point also. What I did was drain the oil out of the bike and clean that area very nicely so the o-ring can fit smooth and flush. Make sure you look at the plastic closely beecause it could have a fracture or just where and tear from being old. BOSS racing actually sells a billet cover for like $24 maybe a good investment.
