thebrittishguy Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 Hey all. Im in london for 4 days and cant find a place that knows about freeze plugs here. this is the last thing i need for my leakdown test and i need 34mm freeze/core/expansion plugs. If you have an idea then please let me know where i can go, because guys in South Africa also dont have a clue where to get them. thanks Quote
Larry's Shee Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 You must think everyone here (US) is stuck up or something. I would presume that plumbing is standard (US-Brit) (maybe not sizes but application) therefore a home improvement store, hardware, or aplumbing supply house should have what you need. Quote
flyhighprerunner Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 an automotive store or plumbing store something like that you should be able to get something..... Quote

This is a US based site for banshee lovers all around the world. There aren't just US users "here" mate! And these freeze plugs shown in the photo's in the leakdown how to dont exist according to the plumbing and automotive places ive been to....... So i thought is ask the users "here", that might know of another place here in england or in South africa as both locations are open to me. Edited August 16, 2009 by thebrittishguy Quote
Larry's Shee Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 We have both expansion plugs (inner) and rubber caps that use hose clamps (outer). Maybe you could fashion something yourself. Don't know what to tell you. I was being facicious (sp) , poking little fun. Mostly cuz you were on a time deadline. Good day!! Quote
Overboost Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 you can get them at Donvans party store on the corner of Weshire and Gnome its owned by some Iranians who speak poor english. guess there is more in common than we thought. Quote
Larry's Shee Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 Did you have any luck yet finding what you need? Quote
