my bike has a set of toomey t-5 pipes on it and compared to other people that have them my bike is a lot quieter than theirs. it still runs very hard but just doesnt have that distinct toomey sound. any ideas??

also packing is new, has fresh rebuild with 145psi both sides, ported, and milled head.

well i have listened to a lot of banshee's on youtube and where we ride and mine sounds nothing like them at all. not even one with good packing. would raising the exhaust ports make a difference in how a bike sounds?

Its no big deal dude. My t5s sounds more throaty after i had it ported. its noticable to the ear but perfomance is still great and what matters.

i was just curious as to why, but im not worried at all. but it does have a throaty sound to it like alf was saying. also is it common for the pipe hanger brackets on toomeys to break?
