bamaboybv Posted August 8, 2009 Report Posted August 8, 2009 Hey I live in Alabama, and I want to get into MX racing. I first started riding 3 wheelers and quads when I was 7. Then at 14 I gotta ex250 Ninja. At 16 drove a R6 to HS, and the list of faster quads and bikes goes on from there (similar to alot of riders). I just moved back home and I've been aggressive trail riding at the 3,000 acre annex that was opened to the public. I am 24, so am I too old to get into racing? I've never raced anything but miles of aggressive trails, a couple mx track runs at practice day, and the good ole' backyard shootouts. What is the best setup? I have a 50hp banshee, but I'm looking for a nice roller. 1 guy said start with a 4poke, but I just love 2strokes. MX quad racing isn't that big in my state either. I see real young guys at the track and they are hammering bikes, and I just felt outta place. What class should I start? Quote
