Infamous039 Posted August 7, 2009 Report Posted August 7, 2009 (edited) Guys, I am thinking of purchasing a Direct Drive Lockout Clutch Kit. I have read that it helps the clutch engage properly without slippage and extends your clutch life??? My motor mods are listed below and I ride a lot of trails and also some sand pits. Let me know if I should purchase this for my bike??? Motor Mods: CPI SB Inframe pipes V-Force 2 Reeds 35mm PWK Carbs Open Air Box - Pro-design filter setup Play/Dune Port by F.A.S.T. Infamous039 Posted August 10, 2009 Author Report Posted August 10, 2009 I spoke to Jeff at FAST and he stated that a lokcup clutch would not be needed with my setup. Its used for high HP engines. Quote

IMO you have a border line setup with regard to needing a lock up. A good clutch kit and springs, with some of the shift improvement hardware that Jeff sells all of, would be a good way it go. If you just want the flashy clutch cover, you can run one of them without a lock up if you like. Quote
